About us
For the first time, the design of the innovative regulator was developed by graduates of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas in 1999.
The idea was polished up after obtaining the simulation results, although even the initial design demonstrated its significant advantages compared to analogous equipment which is widely marketed and conventionally used in oil and gas industry
In 2016, we fabricated a pilot specimen which underwent mechanical tests based on which results we gave preference to the passage design in the form of 6-ray star rather than 8-ray that. Thereby, we managed to reduce friction.
In March 2017, we fabricated another pilot specimen ready for field testing.
In March 2018, Test Center 'Pricam Test' at JSC 'Votkinsky Zavod' ran the casing tightness tests.
In March 2019, patents for invention № 2681726 and № 2682468 were issued.
In 2019, Canada National Patent for invention № CA 2999365 was issued.
As of June 23 2020 Standing Committee on Introduction of Innovative Solution to PJSC 'Gazprom' decided to include the Karelin Control Valve in Register of Innovative Solutions for Introduction to PJSC 'Gazprom'.
In May 2021, the American national patent for invention No. US 11015721 B2 was obtained.
The test results obtained in July-August 2021 at the NPO CCTI (St. Petersburg) exceeded the calculations for all major indicators (throughput, resource stability, gate characteristics).
