Flow part heat-up
We have developed intrinsic heat-up system for flow part of control valves. Conventionally, frozen control valves are dealt with in situ by maintenance engineers by means of improvised materials. Karelin Control Valve can operate at temperatures of up to −60°C without additional modifications.
Reversal of flow direction
Reversal in flow direction in Karelin Valve entails no changes in characteristics of the flow. This function can be engaged not only in case of necessity to change the flow direction but also for blow-down and cleaning of the whole system including the control valve itself. As well as when the control valve is used for balancing of different systems.
Self-cleaning function
Damage to internals of equipment by sand, welding burr, and other foreign inclusions is known issue for control valves of other manufacturers. Our design solution is as follows: the flow part contains no structural elements which could be damaged during operation in an aggressive media.
